Buyer’s premium: 22%

A collection of Japanese stoneware and porcelain tableware featuring various decorative styles. The primary group is a set of ceramic dishes comprising one large shallow serving bowl and five matching smaller plates. These pieces are finished in a cream crackle glaze and decorated with hand-painted stylized fish in cobalt blue and brown tones. Each piece in this set bears a small, rectangular impressed or painted mark in brown pigment next to the central motif, containing Japanese characters that are not clearly legible.

The lot also includes a trio of graduating stoneware bowls in a stacked arrangement, with the uppermost bowl featuring a lid. These are decorated with iron-red brushwork in an abstract or calligraphic style. A porcelain sake set is present, consisting of a white tokkuri (carafe) decorated with a blue circular crest and four small matching white ochoko (cups). A small, lidded cream-coloured condiment pot with a spout and a single large, plain white deep bowl complete the assortment. The deep bowl contains a white adhesive lot label.
