A Georgian Style Miniature Mahogany Twin-Door Cabinet
Description
A Georgian-style miniature cabinet constructed with mahogany and flame mahogany veneers featuring boxwood stringing inlay. The upper section contains a pair of doors with book-matched veneers that open to reveal an interior divided by three vertical mahogany partitions. Below the cabinet section are three long drawers, each fitted with brass swan-neck handles and decorative brass escutcheons. The doors are secured by small brass latches. The piece is finished with a moulded top and stands on shaped bracket feet. The wood displays a rich reddish-brown patina. No maker marks, signatures, or labels are visible on the exterior or interior surfaces. No ruler or scale is present in the photographs.
