Lot 61: Queen Anne Revival Burr Walnut Serpentine Sideboard

A mid-20th-century serpentine-fronted sideboard executed in the Queen Anne revival style, featuring figured burr walnut veneers with crossbanded margins. The top is fitted with a fitted glass protective cover over a moulded edge with continuous carved foliate detailing. The central section houses a graduated stack of three serpentine drawers, flanked by two side cupboard doors with fielded panel fronts. The drawers and doors retain brass-toned metal swing handles and escutcheons. The case is raised on four carved cabriole legs terminating in pad feet, joined by an apron centred with a carved shell and acanthus scroll cartouche. No interior fittings or manufacturer markings are visible.
