Lot 298: A Collection of Fantasy and Historical Pewter Figurines including Summoning the Elements Vignette

An assortment of cast pewter figurines featuring a variety of mythological, fantasy, and historical subjects. The collection includes a prominent vignette titled Summoning the Elements, which is mounted on a rectangular polished wooden base. This piece features a wizard standing beside a craggy stone archway, accented with a translucent blue sphere at the centre of a rocky plinth. A brass-toned title plaque is affixed to the front of the wooden base, inscribed in black uppercase and lowercase letters Summoning the Elements.

The lot further includes a historical figure of a Roman centurion or soldier standing upright, holding a staff and wearing a galea. Fantasy elements comprise a winged horse (Pegasus) in a rearing stance, a wizard standing before a tall bookcase accompanied by a small creature, and a dragon emerging from a textured egg accented with small clear crystals. Other figures in the collection include a standing female figure positioned next to a unicorn, and several smaller individual dragon and mythical creature figurines in various poses. The pieces exhibit detailed surface textures characteristic of white metal casting, with some items incorporating small decorative crystal or glass accents.
