Lot 295: A Collection of Leaded Slag Glass Tiffany Style Lamp Shades

A collection of nine leaded glass lamp shades crafted in the Tiffany style. The assortment includes two variations in form: five ovoid-tapered shades and four rounded-bulbous shades. Each piece is constructed using the copper foil technique, featuring individual sections of cream-toned marbled slag glass. The panels are arranged in a repeating geometric pattern reminiscent of a honeycomb or scales, accented by small dark glass cabochon jewels integrated into the solder joints. Each shade is finished with a circular aperture at the crown for mounting to a light fitment. The leaded joints have been finished with a dark patina.
