Lot 294: A Collection of Colclough Pink and White Bone China Tea Wares

A collection of English bone china tea wares featuring a pale pink and white colour scheme with gilded accents. The set is comprised of several teacups and saucers, a cream jug, and a large serving plate. Each piece is designed with a fluted or lobed body and scalloped rims. The decoration consists of a solid pale pink ground applied to the exterior of the vessels and the wide borders of the plates and saucers, contrasting with a plain white interior and centre. The rims, handles, and foot rings are highlighted with gilded bands, and the large plate features scrolled gold filigree motifs along the edge.

The underside of one teacup bears a printed green backstamp which reads Colclough and MADE IN ENGLAND. This mark is consistent with the mid-20th-century production of the Colclough China Ltd factory.
