Lot 236: An Assortment of Resin and Ceramic Animal and Figural Ornaments
1 view
A large collection of decorative ornaments featuring an assortment of animal and human figures in resin, ceramic, and metal. The lot is notable for a large selection of pig figurines in various poses, including seated, recumbent, and standing. Human figures include two large, stylized resin women—one in a purple dress and one in a white dress—and a small seated Buddha. The animal collection further comprises a panda, squirrel, fox, owl, frog, and a small black and white cat.
The collection includes commemorative and decorative ceramics such as two large mugs featuring transfer-printed illustrations of motorcycle racing with the legible text: Int. 20 ADAC Sandbahnrennen WM Vorlauf. Also present are two tall white ceramic bud vases decorated with purple floral motifs, a small glass tankard with a metal lid, and two porcelain thimbles, one depicting a landscape and the other bearing a blue crest.
Additional decorative items include a large wall plaque or candle holder designed as a stylized face with leaf-like features, containing two tea light apertures. A small silver-toned metal dish is embossed with the Gaelic phrase Uisge beatha on the rim and contains a polished stone. The lot is completed by various small metal figurines and miniature ceramic jugs. A small heart-shaped sign held by a pig figure reads LOVE YOU. While some items bear illegible marks on their bases, no further maker names can be identified.
