Lot 142: A Pair of Victorian Style 9 Carat Yellow Gold Drop Earrings 2.85 gram

This lot comprises a pair of drop earrings crafted in 9 carat yellow gold. The design of each earring features an openwork, shield-shaped frame with a granulated border and scroll motifs at the terminal points. Suspended within the centre of each frame is a singular, faceted gold drop. The earrings are fitted with shepherd’s hook wires for suspension.

The accompanying paper tag features several handwritten notations. The top left corner is marked 12935 above a letter D. The top right corner is inscribed 9ct, and below this is the figure 2.85. The lower portion of the tag is an adhesive auction label from Shelbys Auctioneers for Lot 142, with the number 01132502626 printed at the bottom.
