Contemporary Mid-Century Modern Style Black Oak Veneer Media Unit
Description
A contemporary media unit or television stand designed in the Mid-Century Modern style. The piece is constructed from oak veneer with a black stained finish that allows the natural wood grain to remain visible across all surfaces. The rectangular top is supported by a frame featuring two banks of drawers flanking a central open storage area. This central section contains a single fixed horizontal shelf, providing two compartments for media components. Each side contains two drawers, totalling four, fitted with inset rectangular metal pulls finished in a brushed brass tone. The unit is elevated on four angled and tapered metal feet with a matching brushed brass finish. The interior of the drawers is finished in a dark tone consistent with the exterior. There are no visible maker’s marks or manufacturer labels on the exterior of the piece.
