Description
A low-profile sideboard constructed in the Louis Philippe style, crafted from cherrywood with a warm, polished finish. The piece features a rectangular flat top with a molded edge, situated above a decorative dentil frieze. The facade is composed of two large sliding wooden panels, each set within a framed border and fitted with a small vertical brass pull handle. The cabinet is supported by a pair of short, turned feet to the front and block supports to the rear. The design incorporates a long, low proportion characteristic of nineteenth-century French provincial furniture adapted for modern storage requirements. No maker’s marks, stamps, or labels are visible on the exterior of the piece.
