Lot 38: A Pair of Traditional Style Mahogany Finished Bedside Cabinets

A pair of matching bedside cabinets or lamp tables constructed with a warm mid-brown polished finish. Each unit features a rectangular overhanging top with a traditional ogee moulded edge. The front of each cabinet is fitted with a single cupboard door, characterised by a deep, fielded central panel framed by tiered mouldings. The doors are equipped with a single, small brass drop-handle pull mounted centrally to the upper rail. The cabinets are supported by a substantial plinth base featuring bracketed feet. The finish is consistent across both pieces, highlighting the grain of the wood or veneer. No maker’s marks, signatures, or branding are visible on the exterior surfaces of these items.
