Description
Framed original pencil drawing on paper by J. Wood, depicting a montage of Leeds United Football Club players from the mid-1990s. The composition is dominated by a central large-scale portrait of striker Tony Yeboah, surrounded by smaller depictions of teammates including goalkeeper Nigel Martyn in the 1994-1996 patterned goalkeeper jersey, Lucas Radebe, and Gary McAllister. The players are shown in the asics manufacturer home kit of the era, featuring the Thistle Hotels primary sponsor. The club crest is rendered on the shirts along with decorative stylized LUFC script. The work is signed J. Wood vertically along the left edge and bears the initials AB to the upper-left corner. The text LEEDS UNITED FC is written vertically along the right margin. The drawing is housed in a black-painted wooden frame with a glass front.
