A Trio of Victorian Cranberry Glass Decorative Items
Description
A trio of Victorian hand-blown cranberry glass items, likely of Stourbridge production. The group consists of a small pitcher, a frill bowl, and a footed bowl. The pitcher features a cranberry red body decorated with white horizontal threading on the lower portion, an applied clear glass loop handle, and a clear glass crimped shell foot. The frill bowl or posy vase has an applied clear glass spiked rigaree rim and stands on four clear glass crimped feet. The third piece is a cranberry red bowl supported by clear glass crimped feet. All items display the vibrant pinkish-red colour characteristic of the late 19th century. A small white inventory label marked 501 is adhered to the side of the plain bowl.
