A Mid-20th Century Georgian Style Mahogany Bow Fronted Display Cabinet
Description
A mid-20th-century mahogany display cabinet of bow-fronted form, designed in the Georgian reproduction style. The piece features a central solid door faced with figured flame mahogany veneers, flanked by twin curved side panels with astragal glazing. The top edge is finished with a carved gadrooned border. The cabinet is supported by four short cabriole legs which terminate in well-defined carved claw-and-ball feet. The interior is fitted with two removable glass shelves. The central door features an inset brass-lined keyhole.
