A Victorian Style Turned Hardwood Tripod Stool
Description
A traditional tripod stool, commonly used as a milking or fireside stool. The item features a thick circular seat with a multi-tiered moulded edge, crafted from dark-stained hardwood. It is supported by three baluster-turned legs which are socketed into the base of the seat. A small white rectangular adhesive label with the handwritten number 105 is present on one leg. No maker’s marks or manufacturer’s stamps are discernible.
