A mid-20th-century integrated sewing machine manufactured by Jones. The sewing machine head is finished in a pale green enamel and bears the maker mark – JONES – on the arm. The machine is housed within a mahogany-toned wood cabinet featuring a drop-leaf top with two side leaves and a central compartment cover, all joined by brass-toned hinges. The cabinet is supported by four Queen Anne-style cabriole legs terminating in pad feet. The front of the unit is fitted with a single central drawer featuring a small circular pull handle. The construction utilizes a combination of solid wood and veneers.
