Small Mid-20th Century Oak Drop-Front bureau
Description
A small one-piece mid-20th century bureau cabinet of oak and oak-faced plywood construction with a dark brown stained finish. The upper section features a drop-front fall with a turned wooden knob and a metal internal stay, opening to reveal a simple interior with a single vertical wooden divider. The lower portion comprises a two-door cupboard fitted with angled rectangular wooden block handles. The unit is supported by four integral square-section legs. An auction lot label is present on the upper left of the drop-front. No maker’s marks are visible.
