Jacobean Revival Oak Barley-Twist Gate-Leg Drop-Leaf Dining Table
Description
An early 20th-century oak gate-leg dining table in the Jacobean Revival style. The oval top is constructed from solid oak and features a central fixed section with two drop leaves, each with a rounded edge profile. The table is supported by a base consisting of eight barley-twist turned legs, four of which act as gate-legs to support the leaves when extended. The legs are connected by low-level rectangular stretchers. No maker’s marks are visible on the piece. A small white rectangular auction lot sticker is present on one of the leaves.
