A Twin-Light Art Nouveau Style Lily Table Lamp in the Style of Tiffany
Description
An Art Nouveau-style twin-light table lamp featuring two trumpet-shaped glass shades. The glass shades are worked in graduated tones of amber and orange at the base, transitioning to a mottled green towards the ruffled, undulating rims. The shades are supported by foliate-moulded metal calyxes on curved gooseneck stems. The stems rise from a cast metal base designed in the form of a lily pad with a dark patinated finish. No maker’s marks or signatures are visible on the glass or the metalwork. A small white rectangular label marked 501 is present on the base. The lamp is fitted with a modern black power cord and a white UK three-pin plug.
