A Set of Six Hand-Painted Napoleonic Polish Lancers of the Imperial Guard Cavalry Figures
Description
A set of six hand-painted cast metal toy soldiers representing the 1st Polish Light Horse-Lancers of the Imperial Guard during the Napoleonic era. The figures are finished in blue uniforms with white facings and characteristic square-topped czapska headgear. Each cavalryman is mounted on a brown horse, with five figures holding lances carrying red and white pennons and one figure brandishing a drawn sword. The miniatures are fixed to integral, rectangular green-painted bases. These figures are produced in the traditional 54mm scale and are consistent with the style of makers such as Del Prado or Britains.
