George III Style Mahogany Tilt-Top Tripod Table
Description
A George III style tilt-top tripod table constructed from solid mahogany. The square top features rounded corners and is mounted to a central turned and ringed pedestal column via a wooden block mechanism. The top tilts to a vertical position and is secured horizontally by a black metal spring-loaded catch fixed to the underside. The pedestal is supported by a tripod base consisting of three down-swept cabriole-style legs. The timber displays a natural grain pattern with a polished finish. A contemporary white adhesive label bearing the number 779 is attached to the top surface.
