Description
British School, 20th Century. A collection of five artworks comprising three rural landscape paintings and two decorative prints. The landscapes, executed in oil on board, depict idyllic countryside scenes featuring cottages and woodland under expansive skies. The prints include a portrait of a young child with a small animal and a still life of chicks. The works are presented in a variety of wooden frames, some with gilt detailing and decorative mouldings.
Condition report:
The collection is in generally good vintage condition. The landscape paintings show some surface dirt and minor yellowing to the varnish. The prints exhibit slight age-related toning. The frames show typical signs of age, including minor scuffs, surface wear, and small chips to the gilt and wooden surfaces.
