Description
Unknown Photographer. Contemporary digital pigment print or C-print. A nocturnal view of the Roman Colosseum featuring high-contrast lighting of the amphitheatre’s arches and long-exposure light trails from passing vehicles. Circa 21st century. No edition information, signature, or stamps are visible on the front of the work. Provenance: Private collection. The work is presented without a mount in a wide, multi-stepped wooden frame featuring a champagne-silver inner bevel and an antiqued dark-wash outer moulding. This appears to be a contemporary commercial print produced for the decorative market. Dimensions: Image size and paper size unavailable.
Condition report:
No visible fading, silver mirroring, or foxing. The surface appears free of scratches or creases. The print remains in excellent condition. The frame is in good condition with only minor evidence of handling. Not examined out of frame.
