Description
A George III style mahogany side table of rectangular form, likely a high-quality 20th-century reproduction in the Georgian taste. The piece features a solid mahogany overhanging top over a single frieze drawer. The drawer is fitted with a decorative stamped-brass backplate and a swinging bail handle. The table is supported by four straight, slightly tapered legs joined to the apron with small curved brackets, characteristic of the Chippendale influence. The mahogany exhibits a rich colour and straight grain. No maker’s marks or labels are visible. Dimensions: 71cm H x 61cm W x 46cm D.
Condition report:
