Lot 39: A Gilt and Cream Painted Wooden Standard Lamp with Fringed Shade
1 view
A traditional floor lamp featuring a turned and fluted central column constructed from cream-painted wood or resin with gilded highlights. The column rises from a circular, tiered base decorated with molded foliate and scroll motifs. The lamp is topped with a large, flared cream fabric shade composed of six panels, finished with an ornate gold-toned fringe and decorative trim at the upper and lower rims.
The piece is fitted with a white electrical power cord and a standard UK three-pin plug. A small white adhesive label is present on the upper section of the column, but the printed characters are not legible. No other marks, stamps, or labels are visible.
