Lot 328: A Cased Silver Plated Flatware Service in Kings Pattern

A comprehensive flatware service featuring ornate handles decorated in a scrolled foliate and shell design, commonly known as Kings pattern. The collection includes a service of table knives, various forks, spoons, and several serving pieces, all housed in a fitted wooden presentation case with a blue velvet-lined interior. The knives are fitted with polished blades, one of which bears an etched mark reading STAINLESS, followed by other characters that are not clearly legible. Additional marks are present on the reverse handles and heels of the forks and spoons, but these characters cannot be transcribed at this resolution. The set exhibits a bright, reflective silver-coloured finish consistent with electroplated nickel silver (EPNS). The wooden case features internal dividers and a lid rack to secure the individual pieces.
