Lot 173: Two Pieces of Amber Jewellery Comprising a Graduated Bead Necklace and a Mixed Amber Bracelet

This lot features two pieces of amber jewellery, including a single-strand graduated necklace and a multi-coloured bracelet. The necklace is composed of spherical amber beads in opaque butterscotch and egg-yolk yellow tones. The beads are individually knotted on a yellow cord and graduate in size from smaller terminals to a large central bead. It is secured with an amber screw-thread barrel clasp. The bracelet is constructed of polished, irregular rondelle or chip-shaped amber beads. It features a variegated palette of translucent cherry, cognac, and opaque butterscotch amber, strung on a flexible cord.
