Lot 124: Italian 9 Carat Tri-colour Gold Herringbone Link Necklace 24.50 gram

A tri-colour gold necklace featuring a flat herringbone or snake link design. The chain is constructed from interlocking V-shaped links in yellow, white, and rose gold tones, creating a striped multi-tone aesthetic. The piece is secured with a rectangular box clasp and a single figure-eight safety catch.

The necklace bears several stamped marks for identification. On one end tab, the numerals 375 and the word ITALY are struck. The reverse side of the same tab also features an impressed 375. The clasp body contains multiple small struck marks within rectangular and diamond-shaped frames, including the number 375 and a crown symbol, which is the gold standard mark for the United Kingdom. Other smaller marks on the clasp are present but not legible as specific characters. A white adhesive inventory tag is attached to the clasp area, bearing the handwritten notes 12938, 9ct, 24.50, and 24.5.
