A large collection of assorted costume jewellery, featuring a wide variety of mid to late 20th-century styles and materials. The lot includes multiple beaded necklaces, notably a multi-strand set of pink faceted plastic beads, several strands of faux pearls in various sizes and cream tones, and necklaces composed of black and blue faceted glass beads. There are also organic-style necklaces featuring carved bone or faux-bone components, wooden beads, and tumbled stone elements such as what appears to be jasper or agate.
Metalwork across the collection includes base metal pieces in gold-tone, silver-tone, and copper-tone finishes. Notable items include a large circular silver-tone brooch with relief-moulded geometric and knotwork patterns, a stylized dragonfly brooch with iridescent blue-green enamelled wings, and several “diamante” flexible multi-row bracelets set with clear rhinestones. A large floral-motif brooch is set with blue faceted stones and clear accents.
Additional items include a green heart-shaped glass or aventurine pendant on a green cord, an oval porcelain or composite plaque pendant with a floral transfer design, and a small circular clock face set into a metal pendant housing, featuring black numerals 1 through 12 on a white dial. The dial contains a manufacturer’s name which is not legible. One ring features a large silver-tone band with a textured floral or cross-like motif.
