A set of six decorative napkin rings presented in a brown fabric-lined fitted box. Each ring comprises a thick, dark brown braided cord loop with an integrated tassel finial. Centrally mounted on each cord is a carved jade ornament. The stones are of a pale celadon to honey-toned jade, showing areas of russet skin and natural cloudy inclusions. The carvings are executed in openwork with a traditional ruyi head or stylized cloud scroll motif. The presentation box is rectangular with a dark brown fabric exterior and features six individual padded internal dividers. The interior lid bears a white printed adhesive label from SHELBYS AUCTIONEERS for LOT 103 with the reference 01132502626. A secondary smaller white adhesive label is located in the upper corner of the lid, inscribed in black ink with 12893 over the letter D. The lid is secured by two cream-coloured toggles.
