Silver Glazed Ceramic Figure of a Reclining Panther
Description
A large decorative ceramic sculpture depicting a panther or leopard in a recumbent pose. The feline is rendered in a stylized manner with defined musculature, large paws, and its head turned upwards and to the left. The figure features a bright, reflective silver-toned metallic glaze or electroplated finish across the entire surface. A thin metal chain is draped around the neck of the animal. The underside of the sculpture is not visible in the provided imagery. There is a small white rectangular adhesive label located on the upper shoulder of the figure with handwritten black ink characters reading 129/2 over a capital D.
