An Assortment of Vintage Hand Tools and Modern Storage Containers
Description
An assortment of vintage hand tools contained within two modern plastic storage boxes. The hand tools include carpentry and metalworking equipment, featuring a large wooden spirit level with a central vial housed within a brass-rimmed aperture, a wooden-handled brace hand drill, and several chisels with turned hardwood handles. General tools comprise various hammers, including a claw hammer and a small ball-peen hammer, alongside a large metal file with a wooden handle, a pair of red-handled pliers, and several screwdrivers with wooden and plastic handles. The tools are predominantly constructed from forged steel with turned hardwood handles. The collection is housed within a blue plastic open-top crate and a black plastic tool case fitted with a yellow carrying handle and two yellow plastic latches. The tools are resting on a piece of vintage ephemeral packing paper showing a printed illustration of a man’s face and fragments of red text. No maker’s marks are legible on the tools.
