A Broom and Wade Ltd Type DCL 7 Vintage Belt Driven Single Cylinder Air Compressor
Description
A vintage industrial single-cylinder air compressor manufactured by Broom and Wade Ltd of High Wycombe, England. The unit is constructed with a red-painted single-cylinder compressor pump driven via a V-belt by a horizontally adjacent electric motor. The motor and pump assembly are mounted atop a horizontal cylindrical steel air receiver tank, which is finished in matching red paint and supported on integrated feet with caster wheels. The compressor unit features an intake filter silencer, a pressure switch regulator, and copper piping connections. Accompanying the unit is a separate black-painted automotive wheel rim base containing coiled air hose lines, a pressure gauge, and associated fittings.
