A Pair of Airfix Plastic Model Aircraft Kits Including Supermarine Spitfire and Red Arrows Hawk
Description
Two boxed plastic model aircraft assembly kits produced by Airfix. The first kit is a 1:72 scale Supermarine Spitfire Mk.Ia, part of a starter set range. The box is printed in red and white with a graphic of the aircraft in flight and is marked A68206. It features a printed Humbrol logo and indicates the inclusion of four acrylic paints, one brush, and poly cement. A white adhesive label on the front reads 5857.
The second kit is a larger 1:48 scale Red Arrows Hawk, model number 05111. The box features an illustration of two aircraft in the Red Arrows livery against a blue sky with the text RED ARROWS HAWK and translations including MAQUETTE A MONTER, MODELLBAUSATZ, and MAQUETTA PARA MONTAR. A printed skill level indicator is visible on the side panel. Both kits are constructed from injection-moulded plastic components intended for assembly and finishing.
