Description
A hand-painted porcelain figurine depicting a male artist at work. The figure is fashioned with a goatee beard and a check-patterned beret, wearing a paint-splattered white smock over green breeches and sandals. He stands before a rustic wooden easel, holding a palette while painting a still life of fruit on a canvas. To his right, a small wooden table holds a plate of fruit, a knife, and a blue jug filled with paintbrushes, with a green bottle resting on the grass-textured ground below. The entire scene is set upon a naturalistic circular base featuring a moulded scroll border highlighted in gilt.
