Lot 308: A German Puma Model 6396 Bowie Knife with Stag Horn Handle Sheath and Original Box

A vintage German Bowie knife, model 6396, featuring a clip-point steel blade and a stag horn handle secured by three brass rivets. The blade is etched with the text 6396 HANDMADE, Original-Puma-Bowie, and GENUINE-PUMASTER-STEEL GERMANY. A small red and gold circular adhesive label is affixed to the blade, reading in part the correct temper of each blade. The knife includes a brown leather sheath stamped PUMA below a puma head logo. The set is housed in its original two-piece yellow and green plastic box. A white adhesive label marked 12870 is present on the crossguard, and another marked 30B is on the box.
