0 viewsSold for: £10
A pair of 19th-century powder flasks featuring teardrop-shaped bodies constructed from stitched dark brown leather. The flask on the right displays an embossed figural scene on its front face, depicting a mythological figure amidst foliage. Both examples are fitted with metal dispensing nozzles at the neck, featuring spring-loaded, lever-operated mechanisms. Each flask is finished at the base with a metal suspension loop. One flask bears two adhesive labels: a small rectangular white sticker with the handwritten ink numerals 12870, and a larger rectangular printed auction label reading SHELBYS AUCTIONEERS LOT 294 01132502626. No further maker’s marks, stamps, or signatures are legible on the leather or metal components of either flask.
