Lot 255: A Pair of Copper and Brass Powder Flasks

A pair of antique-style powder flasks constructed with copper bodies and brass fittings. Each flask is designed in a characteristic pear-shaped form. The flask on the right features a brass charger assembly with a spring-loaded lever and an adjustable nozzle for measuring powder charges. The flask on the left has a tapered brass nozzle. Neither body shows embossed decorative patterns or legible maker’s marks. One flask carries a small white adhesive label with the handwritten number 12870 and a larger white adhesive auction tag printed with SHELBYS AUCTIONEERS, LOT 255, and the number 01132502626.
