Lot 235: A Lumar Contractors Pressed Steel Mobile Crane

A vintage Lumar Contractors pressed steel toy crawler crane. The model is constructed from green-painted pressed steel for the cab and base, featuring a two-part yellow-painted lattice boom. The cab is designed with open windows and a manual winding mechanism for the boom and hoist. On the right side of the cab is a printed red and yellow decal featuring the text LUMAR above the word CONTRACTORS. The crane is mounted on a base with two black caterpillar tracks. Affixed to the roof of the cab is a white adhesive paper label printed with the number 235, with a matching label present on the side. The hoisting mechanism is currently rigged with a length of replacement twine. The original lifting attachment is not present.
