Lot 351: A Crown Staffordshire Miniature Bone China Tea Set in Mint Green and Gilded Polka Dot Pattern

A partial miniature tea set manufactured by Crown Staffordshire in fine bone china. The set comprises a lidded teapot, three cups, and three saucers. The design features a two-tone pale mint green and white ground decorated with hand-applied gilded polka dots and gold-edged scalloped rims. The teapot is designed with a pointed finial and curved spout, and all handles are accented with gilding. The base of the pieces bears a green printed backstamp comprising the word CROWN above a crown emblem over intertwined letters S and C, with ESTD 1801 to the sides, and STAFFORDSHIRE MADE IN ENGLAND below. A hand-painted red-orange mark reading 3/27 and a small gold dot are also present on the base.
