This collection consists of multiple banknotes spanning the colonial and post-colonial eras of Vietnam. The group includes fractional centime notes from the Gouvernement Général de l’Indochine, featuring the 5 cents, 10 cents, and 20 cents denominations dating from the 1940s. The collection further includes several issues from the Republic of Vietnam (South Vietnam), issued by the Ngân-Hàng Quốc-Gia Việt-Nam, notably the 500 Đồng Tiger note and the 1000 Đồng Elephant note from the 1972 series. Other South Vietnamese designs depict a junk boat on the 2 Đồng note and the Temple of Literature on the 1 Đồng note. Also present are notes from the Banque de l’Indochine and post-1975 unification issues from the Ngân Hàng Nhà Nước Việt Nam, such as the 1 Đồng Ha Long Bay note and the 50 Đồng tractor note. The banknotes are printed in various colours including green, red, and sepia, utilizing both intaglio and offset printing methods. Transcribed serial numbers include 0193461186 and 970473. The notes are presented in a plastic-sleeve album.
