A vintage wooden jigsaw puzzle manufactured by The Chad Valley Co Ltd of Harborne, England, for the Great Western Railway Company. The puzzle consists of approximately 150 plywood pieces with paper lithograph surfaces. It is housed in its original two-piece cardboard box featuring a black lid label with red and white printed text and heraldic imagery. The lid displays the coat of arms for the City of London with the motto Domine Dirige Nos and the coat of arms for Bristol City Council with the motto Virtute Et Industria. The printed text includes the title Jig-Saw Puzzle, the approximate piece count, and the full manufacturer and publisher details.
