Lot 197: A Pair of Framed 20th Century Prints of English Rural Scenes

A pair of 20th-century colour prints on paper, produced as lithographic reproductions of original watercolours. The scenes depict traditional English rural landscapes: one features a cluster of thatched-roof cottages situated beside a waterway with a blossoming tree in the foreground, while the second depicts a stone parish church with a square tower reached by a winding dirt path. Both images are rendered in a vignette style with soft, blended borders. The works are set within wide paper mounts and housed in simple gilt-finished frames behind glass.
