Lot 77: A Set of Four Mid-Century Modern Teak Dining Chairs

This set of four mid-century modern dining chairs is designed in the Danish style, circa 1960s. Each chair features a distinctive curved, oval-shaped backrest constructed from teak-veneered plywood, supported by two uprights. The frames are built from solid teak with square-section legs that taper towards the feet, joined by H-pattern stretchers. The padded seats are upholstered in a textured, dusky pink fabric. The design exhibits clean lines and a functionalist aesthetic characteristic of the era, closely resembling models produced by manufacturers such as Farstrup. A small white rectangular label or sticker is present on the backrest of one chair, though the details are not clearly legible.
