It comprises a central pen rest area, two rectangular compartments with hinged lids for stamps or nibs, and a single inkwell with a hinged, domed lid. The tray is of triangular form with raised edges and a dark-stained wood grain, featuring a metal loop handle at the rear. It is accompanied by a matching curved wooden-handled brush with natural bristles.
