A Set of Amber Pressed Glass Art Deco Style Tableware
Description
This collection of amber-coloured pressed glass items features characteristic Art Deco geometric patterns and forms. The assortment includes a large shallow centrepiece bowl with a scalloped, flared rim and a radial starburst pattern to the base. Also included are a pair of candlesticks with stepped hexagonal bases and matching sockets. The set further contains an assortment of small square bowls with textured geometric exterior walls and starburst bases. This style and colour are consistent with mid-20th-century British glassware, often attributed to manufacturers such as Bagley or Sowerby. A small rectangular label is present on the interior of the large bowl, though the markings are not clearly legible.
