Lot 73:
Late Victorian Solid Oak Extending Dining Table
Description
A late 19th-century extending dining table constructed from solid oak. The rectangular top is composed of solid oak planks and includes a single removable central leaf, which is currently fitted using a sliding frame mechanism. The table is supported by four substantial legs, each featuring turned and fluted decorative detailing. These legs terminate in small castors, which are characteristic of heavy dining furniture from this period. No maker marks, stamps, or labels are visible, although a small, illegible inventory sticker is present on the central leaf.
