Description
A long rectangular bench or stool featuring a woven seat in a decorative two-by-two basketweave pattern. The seat is constructed from rush or paper cord and is supported by a wooden frame with dark-stained, turned spindles. The primary structural timber visible on the underside displays a warm reddish-brown grain consistent with teak or mahogany, while the supporting legs and framework have a contrasting ebonised or dark-walnut-stained finish. A small white label is present on the frame but is not legible. The item is currently positioned resting on its top surface, with the woven seat facing upwards.
