An Edwardian Style Mahogany Display Cabinet
Description
A mahogany display cabinet of rectangular form, constructed in the early 20th-century Edwardian style with Queen Anne revival influences. The cabinet features two large doors with decorative astragal glazing bars arranged in an arched fan-like pattern. This is a single-piece unit raised on four cabriole legs terminating in pad feet. The interior is lined with a light-ground floral patterned fabric featuring small sprigs of flowers. The right-hand door is fitted with a simple circular metal keyhole escutcheon. A small white inventory or lot sticker is visible on the front left side of the frame, but no manufacturer marks are present to confirm a specific maker.
