Vintage Chad Valley Super Show Projector with Original Box
Description
A vintage Chad Valley Super Show episcope-style toy projector. The projector body is constructed from dark burgundy moulded plastic with a light grey plastic lens housing and a metal handle. Designed for domestic use, this optical device is intended to project images from small objects and cardboard cut-out characters onto a wall or screen. The lot includes the original illustrated cardboard box and a collection of cardboard action slide characters and paper ephemera, with one fragment bearing the Chad Valley name. Also present is a length of red and white decorative cord. The projector is mains-powered with an attached two-core power cable and vintage plug.
